Game has its flaws but it's one of my faves. Enemies are leveled sure but they die from stealth all the same. On the suggestion of some madlad in a comment section my last playthrough was without any HUD and it was one of my fav AC playthroughs ever. Couple things, obviously split up combat skills between Evie and Jacob but don't be too afraid to switch it if you want. You'll eventually have enough skill points for everything eventually but most of the game especially early is better splitting the stats. Also I'd highly recommend doing the fight clubs when they unlock, especially the higher level ones. It really lets you understand the combat and how it should flow with practice Also yellow chests are great. Unity arguably has the best drip system in the series but the outfits some yellow chests help unlock are stylish as hell 👌👌

One of the best improvements Syndicate makes is the improvements to the blackbox missions from Unity. All the optional routes and objectives are more thought out and the unique assassinations are badass. Id highly recommend doing the unique assassinations

I liked Syndicate. Its biggest flaw is how easy it becomes once you level up your skills, since the AI is pretty braindead. If you don't level up your health, stealth and capacity to carry ammo and gadgets, the game remains fun and challenging. And Evie is easily one of the best Assassins in the entire franchise.

There is an easter egg in David Brewster’s lab. You can spot the Head of Saint Denis from AC Unity Dead Kings on one of his tables.

I have bad news for you. In majority of main missions you have to play as Jacob, and only in a sixth of all main missions you can choose who you play as.

I think I have a soft spot for syndicate. There are so many cool things about it, mainly the city. London is SO detailed, unique in every district and just overall beautiful. The second thing I love, which no one really talks about is the sheer amount of activities. As I've seen you haven't really seen them, so even if it's not a spoiler at all, you might be surprised so I won't spoil it, but I'll just say that even though they are repetitive, they are so fun and I lose myself in them so much, I'm just out of nowhere the richest man in London The story is mostly the one thing people complain about the most. It's more comedic, even if the era is really grim, full of crime and murderers. My biggest gripe with the game is how the two assassins are mostly the same. They both play the same, act the same (gameplay wise), have the same tools and the same skills, with some minor exception. Also how Jacob is basically the mc because he has twice as much missions and almost all blackbox assassinations. Another thing is how I love to use carriages, but they have no use in missions with the cool stuff you can do. Like jumping across them, chilling on the roof, stealthily hanging from them or hiding in them which all have so many infiltration potential, but you never use it. If I can give you some tips for my beloved carriages: if you fall on them from any height from the zip launcher you don't take any fall damage, you can use bombs to make the horses freak out so you can escape while fighting or chilling on the roof without driving it yourself and if undetected, you can assassinate the drivers, even doible assassinate from the roof. Overall I think many people see the bad things about syndicate and just ignore all the other good stuff. Also this was the time after Unity's launch ,,accident,, so people were kinda full of the old AC formula, which went to making Origins There's also that the game was supposed to look EXTREMELY different in the codename Victory phase, so if you want to know more I'd suggest you to look into it Other than that I loved the video and I'm happy to see you have the passion for the games just like when starting with AC I (Omg I spen WAY too much time writing this so thank you for reaching this far)

Syndicate is fine, not as bad as Odyssey. I am just not fond of being forced to rely on a gadget to scale and get across buildings.

The main problem most people had with this game was the story and how the twins aren't really a great duetergonist duo. And the main villain isn't really a well written. Most of the time they're monologuing and the characters don't even come face to face till the very end. Also many didn't like the parkour system not being utilised to the fullest because of London's layout with huge streets and tall buildings, but I think that's fine. We get the grappling gun and that is way more fun to traverse around the map than on bare foot. Thats just me tho. You can hate the parkour system but it is what we have. Yes you do get more xp for getting full synchronisation so do try to do them as the grinding can get out of hand for the skills and xp.

Syndicate is really the most over hated game in the franchise in my opinion it’s not the best by any means but I enjoyed it alot

Jacob is actually the main character, 70% of the main story missions are for him, which I had no problem with because he always seemed cooler than Evie to me

Syndicate is far from my favorite AC, but the atmosphere of big city London is amazing. That said, this game would've benefited from just having a sole protagonist. In early Alpha screenshots, George - the assassin from the beginning - would've been the protagonist we play as. And I gotta say that I would've preferred that over Jacob and Evie, even from George's assassin robes alone. They look infinitely better than the twins' default outfits.

I wouldn't say the game is bad, persay, it's just a different flavor so to speak I personally found the protagonists in Syndicate irritating Aside from that, i found the game itself pretty enjoyable😺

I think that this game has its cool features like the more open infiltration missions, trains, carriages etc., but the parkour system is more restricted than in unity and the combat feels very cartoonish and non-weighty, especially compared to unity.

This game’s parkour is weird. It controls the exact same as Unity, but they removed the jump button and the “x” to leap of faith. It’s just the last game’s parkour but slightly worse

If this game was brought a good story Instead of lame american comedy, it could have saved the series.

Honestly really loved this one. Definitely not most people’s favorite, but I can’t remember getting bored of this one at any point. Excited to see your play through!

Syndicate's probably one of my favorite AC games. It gets ignored even though it's basically a more polished Unity, the gameplay is a lot of fun (as you've seen) and the world-building is pretty great; the story and story-telling is... pretty subpar, though. But a good time is all you need anyway, eh?

I only played a handful of ac games but syndicate is probably 2nd-3rd. I enjoyed it more than ac2

This game kinda frustrates me not for what it is on it’s own it’s fine but because of what it could have been originally this game was gunna be set earlier in the Victorian era with a dark gothic aesthetic and a lot of concepts got changed remember the suit Jacob and evies mentor has it was originally going to be jacobs and it would have had unity style crowds and it would have put more emphasis on the gang system but then unity got all its controversy and thing changed
